Dear Student Ministry Leaders and Coaches,
2009 Student Leadership Conference
Radically.Engaged.Disciple
Saturday, September 19th
South Fort Myers High School
Register Now |
Imagine starting the school year with a team of students engaged, encouraged, and equipped to make a difference on their campus for the sake of Christ. Imagine if this team at each campus were comprised of students from various churches and ministries banding together for the sake of serving their schools and pointing students to a relationship with Christ. Imagine a group of Radically Engaged Disciples. Birthed out of the hearts of several local youth ministry leaders, R.E.D. Conference is poised to be the launching point of this vision. Over 25 ministries have committed to making this vision a reality; we hope and pray that you and your students will join this endeavor. Our vision is even broader with our goal of establishing this as an annual conference for the students of SWFL in the fall and to offer the renowned, “Leadership Rocks” conference as an annual winter/spring event hosted here in our own area.
Simply put, R.E.D. Conference will describe what it means to be a Radical leader for Jesus Christ, to Engage your students to move in the direction of campus ministry, and finally to encourage and equip your students to be Disciples and carry out the Great Commission. R.E.D. Conference takes place at South Fort Myers High School on Saturday, September 19th from 9 AM to 3 PM and will feature Dr. Jay Strack and
Brent Crowe of Student Leadership University. Tickets are only $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
Please join us as we make final plans for R.E.D. Conference with your valuable input. We are looking for leaders to commit to bringing their students and helping with breakout sessions. You may RSVP with Gretchen Shelton at (239) 784-3377.
We look forward to seeing you on Aug. 4th
