One of My Greatest Experiences with God: My greatest experiences with God are at each Lock-in that we put together at Mariner High School. Each lock-in has hundreds of young people who have the opportunity to hear the gospel and it is amazing to see the scores of teenagers who accept Christ. When I see how real their faith is…all I can do is praise God for how good he is.
Best thing about FCA: Is the dedication that FCA has to seeing young people come to know Christ.
Why I’m involved in FCA: I’m involved in FCA because the Bible tells us that we should “Go ye therefore and teach all Nations…” and FCA gives me the opportunity to “Go.”
My Experience/Role With FCA: I have been the sponsor of FCA at Mariner High School in Cape Coral, Florida for 11 years.
Best Spiritual Advice I’ve heard/read: My Pastor Tom Sexton has told me on more than one occasion that a Christian should work to stay excited about what God is doing in my life no matter what He is doing. In Philippians Paul tells us that everything which God allows into our life happens “unto the furtherance of the gospel.”
Jesus is awesome because: He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Competition Tip: Athletics is a microcosm to life…what you learn through competition you will carry with you for the rest of your life. You don’t get what you expect…you get what you accept. If you accept less than the best, then you will reap unsatisfactory results.
One Random Fact about yourself: I enjoy all water sports…knee boarding, water skiing, tubing, jet ski…etc.
